About Leon Hickey 

For over 30 years, I have been capturing the beauty of the natural world through my lens and mind’s eye. I strive to make each image a creative expression, and establish an emotional association with the scene.

Landscape photography isn’t my job – it’s my passion. Each day, I’m excited to go out into the world and capture its natural beauty in a way that is truly personal.

I use the latest equipment and wide array of techniques to convey the atmosphere of each location I photograph. My goal is to create fine images that not only capture the world’s beauty but also connect with people on a deeper level.

Equally devoted to both the technical and artistic side of photography, I’ve had the privilege of training many highly skilled photographers in the art of lighting and composition as I travelled throughout Canada.
