Newfoundland and Labrador is located on the eastern edge of North America. Our capital city shares the same latitude as Paris, France, and Seattle, Washington. And by plane, we're just three hours from Toronto, four from New York, and five and a half from London.

With the North Atlantic Ocean at our doorstep, Newfoundland and Labrador is home to Iceberg Alley, one of the best places in the world to view icebergs. Just off the coast, the meeting of the cool Labrador Current and the warm Gulf Stream creates an abundance of marine life that attracts thousands of whales, and provides rich nesting grounds for millions of seabirds.

All photographic art prints are unframed 13'' x 19'' including border. Each photographic art image is archival and printed on media that suits that individual photographic art image. Some media chosen are: Matte, Luster , Kodak Endura and Hahnemühle. All photographic art prints are the same price regardless of media chosen and includes taxes and shipping.

Although these media types are very stable it is recommended that you display your photographic art prints where UV light is reasonably low. Do not display photographic prints in direct sunlight.

Also, to ensure the integrity of the print structure, try not to handle the image area of the photographic art print with bare hands. This could cause acids to transfer from your hands to the print surface and may affect the photographic art print's life.

Newfoundland; is a large Canadian island off the east coast of North America. The island of Newfoundland (originally called Terra Nova, from "New Land" in Latin) was visited by the Icelandic Viking Leif Eriksson in the 11th century, who called the new land "Vinland". L'Anse aux Meadows was a Norse settlement on the northernmost tip of Newfoundland which has been dated to be approximately 1000 years old. The island was later visited by the Italian John Cabot (Giovanni Caboto), working under contract to King Henry VII of England on his expedition from Bristol in 1497. Newfoundland has a dialect of English known as Newfoundland English and a dialect of French known as Newfoundland French. It once had a dialect of Irish known as Newfoundland Irish, as well as an Amerind.
